About me
Hi, I'm Michael. Five countries so far, and apps about the things I love.
countries I've studied or worked in
Class Honours, BA International Business
courses and certifications
apps designed and built on the side
A bit more
I work out what's worth building, then prove it worked: at Adobe with A/B tests, on my own with four apps.
Each starts with something I care about: travel, K-pop, too many photos, and catching the bus.
How I work
Every change is a question with an answer I can measure. At Adobe, A/B tests; on my own sites, a testing tool I built that reports each version's lift and how sure it is.

Questions
Hi, that's me. I'm a product manager based in the United Kingdom. I spent a year at Adobe in London running A/B tests and personalisation on adobe.com, then did a master's in User Experience Design at the University of Portsmouth. These days I'm building four apps of my own.
I work out what to build and prove it worked: research to find the real problem, experiments to test the answer, and the numbers to decide. At Adobe that was 11 A/B tests across adobe.com, worth $308k a year in new recurring revenue.
Four apps for iPhone, iPad and Mac, each designed and built end to end: Peregrino, a travel journal; PocaPal, for K-pop collections; UoP Bus, Portsmouth's university buses, live; and Keepsake, a photo library that's coming soon.
At the University of Portsmouth, a First in International Business and a master's in User Experience Design; a year at SolBridge in Daejeon, South Korea; and a summer programme at Linköping University in Sweden.
Curious, calm, and a bit stubborn about evidence. I'd rather hear what people actually do before deciding anything, and I'd rather test two ideas than argue about one.
